How the calculation works
- Clear panel width = (wall width − 2 × outside margin − (panel count + 1) × divider width) ÷ panel count.
What the result assumes
- Equal clear-width panels are bounded by one more vertical divider than the number of panels.
- Each outside margin is clear space beyond the outermost divider.
- The elevation height is illustrative. Doors, devices, furniture, corners and rail heights must be reviewed separately.
Check before using the result
- Use a whole number of panels. The wall must have positive clear panel space after both outside margins and every divider are included.
Send the proposed dimensions and an annotated wall photo through intake for a dimensioned elevation.
